The Mental Health Association of San Mateo County has a long history of developing affordable housing for individuals with mental illness in San Mateo County. Since 1986, MHA has constructed and/or purchased/rehabilitated emergency, transitional and permanent housing sites for individuals with serious mental illness to provide the appropriate type of housing and level of support to meet their needs. They offer 18 month transitional housing with case management through the Spring Street Transitional Housing program.


Mission Statement: The Mental Health Association of San Mateo County (MHA), a nonprofit organization, enriches quality of life, restores dignity, and reduces homelessness, particularly for those affected by mental illness and HIV/AIDS. MHA strengthens hope by providing shelter, support and opportunities for socialization.

i am looking for housing. i do work 32 hours at whole foods and am in an outpatient program for BiPolar depression. I am currently homeless but have a roof over my head. I need to move as soon as possible
