Good morning. My name is Joy Smith. I am a 52yrs old single female and I am currently staying in Harrisonville, MO with a toxic family. I have no children, but I do have an almost 12yr old pug who is current and has all papers/rabies tag.I am currently a client at Pathways/Compass Health in Harrisonville. I am working with a case worker named Nate. The living situation of the people that I am currently staying with is NOT SAFE, to say the least. I am needing housing assistance as soon as possible. I am not sure if your facility accepts single women with a pet? Please advise. If so, please let me know if I need to make arrangements with my case worker at Compass Health? And how I may enter your program. If not, please let me know any recommendations that you may have. I have been trying to get in to Rose Brooks, but have not been successful. I was at Hope Haven in Harrisonville in Jan 2019 through March 2019. However, I have absolutely no desire to return to that facility. Thank you in advance for your time, assistance and consideration. I look forward to your reply. Meanwhile, I hope that you have a great remainder of your day. Joy Smith

I have been in an abusive relationship with my husband for over a year. We lived with my parents and they kicked us out of their house because of all the fighting and abuse of me. I have no place to go, he found a place but left me on the street. I need help as soon as possible. I have no place to go.
