Haven House is a transitional shelter for families. After making application, undergoing a background check, and agreeing to the rules and policies of Haven House, families may stay up to 12 weeks.   During their stay families are required to remain employed and/or gain employment, identify and apply for applicable government assistance and work to accomplish their self-generated goals.   Families receive close supervision by the Executive Director while participating in the program. The Haven House includes four private bedrooms for various family sizes and communal kitchen, bathrooms, living/dining space and laundry.  Families must complete house chores during their stay. The purpose of the Haven House is to assist families in their transition from homelessness or housing insecurity to a more permanent housing situation.
