The extended hand ministries, inc. Shelter was founded in 2001 in response to growing numbers of homeless persons and families in Burlington County and the need for a more comprehensive approach to serving them. At that time The Extended Hand Ministries, Inc. introduced a major innovation in the social service field. Instead of remaining in emergency shelters or transitional housing for extended periods, homeless families should be relocated into permanent, affordable housing as quickly as possible. The extended hand ministries, inc. provides case management services for up to one full year, to help people transition to stability. The extended hand ministries, inc. has been providing 24 hours and 7 days a week shelter and assistance to the homeless. At this time we are accepting homeless veterans only. Hours Monday - Friday Open 24 hoursSaturday & Sunday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
