Our mission is to promote the welfare of our community by providing families with marginal incomes with a chance at renewed life through safe, decent and sanitary affordable housing and guidance. Currently, CTHHS owns and operates 3 single-family transitional houses. Resident families typically stay 8-12 months while working on goals and gaining financial stability. Since 1999, we have housed more than 30 families.
Although the vision of a homeless shelter is yet to be realized, we continue to work toward acquiring property and resources for a short-term emergency shelter and community resource center.
