About Community Housing Services Inc

Community Housing Services (CHS) is a full-service 501(c)(3) non-profit housing agency. CHS provides resources, crisis intervention, and long-term housing for the homeless and near homeless, victims of domestic violence, and single displaced men.  The goal of CHS is to provide permanent solutions to housing and related problems faced by the homeless, near homeless, victims of domestic violence, and other housing related issues faced by low and moderate income people.

Note: Apartments may not have openings or may have long waiting lists. Call for complete details.

Mission Statement: Our goal is to be here to help women navigate unplanned pregnancy and sexual health.

Many religious organizations offer transitional housing at no cost as part of their ministry services. Many also offer payment assistance for those that qualify. We list these resources.

Government Subsidized

Through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, grants are provided to sober homes and transitional housing facilities for those who cannot afford alcohol and drug treatment.

Sliding-scale fees
