Description: Since 1993, Interlink Counseling Services has grown into one of Kentucky's largest homeless veteran treatment centers. It has been a foregoing leader in the state of Kentucky, offering its intensive chemical dependency treatment programs, which include treatment for both alcoholism and drug abuse. Interlinks treatment center offers an 80 bed transitional housing facility for veterans who are experiencing the horrors of homelessness. Some clients also have co-occurring mental illness. Clients may stay in the residential program for up to 24 months. Interlink provides group and individual counseling, case management, classes on recovery, relapse prevention, life skills, and other relevant topics.
