Since 1993, Interlink Counseling Services has grown into one of Kentucky's largest homeless veteran treatment centers. It has been a foregoing leader in the state of Kentucky, offering its intensive chemical dependency treatment programs, which include treatment for both alcoholism and drug abuse. Interlinks treatment center offers an 80 bed transitional housing facility for veterans who are experiencing the horrors of homelessness. Some clients also have co-occurring mental illness. Clients may stay in the residential program for up to 24 months. Interlink provides group and individual counseling, case management, classes on recovery, relapse prevention, life skills, and other relevant topics.  Administrative office hours are: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard Time.

(ICS) is a private, nonprofit, State Certified organization formed to minister hope and recovery to troubled people from all walks of life. ICS is an advocate of the homeless, a therapeutic organization for chemically dependent people, and a resource agency for the community. ICS is dedicated to the philosophy that effective treatment can be best achieved by interaction with community resources and service providers. This interaction allows ICS to utilize state-of-the-art treatment protocols, addressing the latest treatment trends. ICS emphasizes the ministry of developing social service programs designed to promote client self-sufficiency through networking staff and community. Employee relations statement ICS staff is interested in working with homeless, chemically dependent, or dual diagnosed persons. From the streets to the church, ICS staff minister to human needs and understand that no one person or group can be all things to all people. ICS staff is committed to enlist the services of other concerned persons and groups in an effort to provide the best possible care and treatment to those whom we serve. Depending upon individual client requirements, ICS can offer counseling services ranging from basic screening to assessment to delivery of services in individual, group or long-term residential settings. ICS staff offers outpatient counseling for families and individuals. ICS believes in the recruiting, developing, promoting and recognizing an honest and competent workforce in a fair and equitable manner. ICS offers a work environment where participating management builds trust and encourages motivation and creativity. Client Services ICS is designed to provide a therapeutic environment to meet the emotional, physical, spiritual and social needs of all people for recovery. ICS provides necessary education, goal setting, counseling and vocational assistance to enhance the participants feeling of self-respect and dignity, empowering people to gain self worth and to realize their potential. ICS encourages clients to gain understanding and make applications of AA, NA, GA, and other support systems in their ongoing treatment program.

Do you accept donations? Mostly nice men's and women's apparel. If so, let me know what you accept and where is the most convenient place that I can drop them off. I live in Crestwood.
