Unlike many organizations whose focus isone-time or emergency care, Hillcrest's primary objective is to moveclients from homelessness to self-sufficiency within 90 days by addressing the total life situation of the homeless families they serve, though loner term transitional housing optionsmay beavailable to clients with excessive barriers to housing. Hillcrest also provides a transitional housing program for homeless teens and young adults, ages 16-21, who have an educational goal. This unique program offers housing& supportive services for up to 24 months. In exchange for rent/utility-free housing,adults are required by written agreement to find full-time employment, obey program guidelines and attend weekly volunteer-taught classes in life skills, employment, community living and budgeting. Hillcrest also provides to clients in the transitional housing programs the following, through a network of community support: auto repair/donation, food pantry, medical assistance, dental work, GED classes, haircuts, glasses, school clothes, work uniforms, etc.

I'am DeAndre MayWilliams. 31 years of age lived in Greenwood , which I'm still at and I really don't have no where to go I have no family , like none not a mother or father I last everything and before I give up or try to kill my self... Because I have nothing one no body and I can't do this no more so I need help back on my feet and just a friend to talk to so please me I'm begging someone.

63 years old and homeless. Living and sleeping in car after leaving son’s basement. Basement sustained foundation damage late Aug (last month). I was on family room floor, but son and I can’t talk just argue. Not healthy environment.

Fiance and I are alcoholics/addicts. We have been clean 93 days. We have been in Family Drug Court since January 7th, and UA's and hair folic tests have been negative.

I have three children never had a job I just want to better myself for my children I want to be able to provide for them and eventually give him a permanent homes in the day shut down how to be happy and healthy family any new Journey with our faith of being Catholic get any kind of look like hands to help with the process faster than me being able to provide

This is my grandson who works for a tree service out of Harrisonville! He needs housing for a short time til his family visit from Virginia during Thanksgiving. He my join a service, he is 20 years old.
