ABBADADDY Safe and Sober House is located approximately eight miles west of Keuterville on a serene mountain enveloped with trees. This particular area waschosen because of the  privacy it provides to those who come for Life Skills Traininghousing and counseling. The quietness of the area calms troubled  emotions and offerspeace for the anxious mind. The Adult Safe and Sober House  accommodates up to four clients, one gender at a time. Mission Statement The mission of ABBADADDY Staffed Adult Safe and Sober House is to providetransitional living that provides interim support and services for persons who are at riskof institutional placement or persons transitioning from  institutional  settings. Throughthe Life Skills program ABBADADDY HOUSES  mission is to enhance  personal  andfamily skills for work and home, reduce marriage and family conflict, and develop  attitudes and capabilities that support the adoption of healthy, recovery-orientedbehaviors and healthy re-engagement with the community. (Adapted from IDAPA16.07. 20; 2011) Purpose The purpose of ABBADADDY Staffed Adult Safe and Sober House is to provide anatmosphere of healthy change. It is the creation of a free space where one can enterand become an asset to self, family, community and others. The purpose is to notchange the person but to offer him/her the opportunity where change can occur.
