About Southern Christian Children's Home

Southern Christian Children's Home services offered: Provides programs that offer extended shelter and supportive services for individuals and/or families with the goal of helping them live independently and transition into permanent housing. Some programs require that the individual/family be transitioning from a short-term emergency shelter. The length of stay varies considerably by program. Also offers housing for single mothers. Women who are unmarried, widowed, separated or divorced and who have parental responsibility for one or more children.

Note: Apartments may not have openings or may have long waiting lists. Call for complete details.

Mission Statement: The Mission of Southern Christian Home is to glorify God by providing an environment where children are given training and instruction in Christ-centered values, by helping to strengthen families, and by being faithful stewards of the human and material resources provided by Him. To best serve the children and their families, we must base all that we do on Biblical truths and principles.
