The Staff at Artesian is professional,& courteous, while maintaining rules that help the residents gain the tools needed to return to a productive life. The apartments are comfortable, centrally located & fully equipped. I especially commend Kat, Barb & Yvonne. They helped make it possible for me to get healthy & return home.

I was a resident for six weeks post in patient 28 days. I am beyond grateful to have been able to attend & develop skills to enable me to return to my home & daily living. We all signed a contract on admission & if we followed the rules Artesian was an excellent next step for me. Kat, Barb & Yvonne were no nonsense, kind & communicative. If you respected them They respected you. They were there to support residents, answer questions & prepare you for the rest of your life.

My second time at Artestian was much better because of the new staff: When I returned, there were some new people in charge. My recollection of that time is not completely clear. One thing I clearly remember is they were running a tight ship. I was far from ready to give up on my addiction. Nonetheless, they tried. Barb made a long lasting impression on me. She was tough as nails, but that woman was passionate about helping others and desperately wanted to share the gift of recovery. I have and never will forget her. It was a horrible time in my life, my father was dying from terminal cancer, I had no desire to feel anything. The night Barb had to ask me to leave, I saw so much empathy, compassion, and love in her eyes. The world of recovery needs more people like her. I have thought of her many times in the 2 and a half years that I have been sober. She was a key person in my recovery. Should you decide to go to Artestian, do yourself a favor and look for Barb. Hopefully she is still there.

Do you have any beds available? I am leaving a 90-day program in St Cloud. I'm looking to come back to Stuart which is my hometown. I have been sober since the beginning of March. I was at artesian many years ago and achieved a long time of sobriety afterwards and I'm ready to do the same again please let me know availability as soon as you can thank you.

This halfway house was a God sent to me. I came here from Minnesota out of detox. I was only going to stay three weeks. After listening to the director and meeting the staff I decided to stay 3/months. I have been here eight months and have not regretted my decision. If you are serious about getting sober in every area of your life; are willing to put in 110/% this is the place to be. You get what you put in. Simple as that. Come in empty and allow yourself to be filled and healed.
