About Rusty's Morningstar Ranch

Rusty's Morningstar Ranch offers Residential program for adults with autism on a 10 acre working ranch. The rancher/clients days are filled with activities: planting, maintaining and harvesting 3 gardens, caring for the horses, collecting chicken eggs, cleaning animal pens and  keeping the barn clean. Favorite activities include: swimming, horseback riding, hiking, volunteering at the local library, enjoying nature in the beautiful Verde Valley of Arizona.

Note: Apartments may not have openings or may have long waiting lists. Call for complete details.

Many religious organizations offer transitional housing at no cost as part of their ministry services. Many also offer payment assistance for those that qualify. We list these resources.

Government Subsidized

Through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, grants are provided to sober homes and transitional housing facilities for those who cannot afford alcohol and drug treatment.

Sliding-scale fees
