Good Samaritan Services provides a full continuum of care to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Services they offer: Emergency Shelters Residential Housing Housing Support Services across Lancaster and Chester Counties They serve around 400 men, women and children every year, they also offer many financial stability and personal development resources that holistically and effectively address the needs of participants who are enrolled at Good Sam. They have locations in Phoenixville, Coatesville, Ephrata and Lancaster City.

Mission Statement: Good Samaritan Services gives immediate help to people who are experiencing homelessness, and helps those at risk of becoming homeless, by restoring their lives to stability. We engage the community to support these efforts.

Government Subsidized
Through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, grants are provided to sober homes and transitional housing facilities for those who cannot afford alcohol and drug treatment.
