Mission To provide high quality, comprehensive mental health and substance abuse services to Berkshire residents through community-based services that promote the highest possible degree of recovery, independence and quality of life of those served. They will provide access and supports to meet the mental health and substance abuse needs of individuals of all ages, race, and cultures, and intellects, enabling them to live, work and participate in their communities. They will ensure effective and culturally competent care to promote recovery. They will accomplish this by working in partnership with state agencies, individuals, families, and other providers. They have an overarching goal of promoting recovery principles and resiliency through collaboration.
In order to meet this goal, they will encourage: individual and family active involvement in the treatment process ; culturally and linguistically competent care; employ trained staff who uphold these principles; whenever possible, use evidence-based practices; operate programs efficiently.

Government Subsidized
