Broward House realized from inception that the basic need of shelter is vital for all individuals.  Each person they serve is prepared for a different level of housing.  They create a home for individuals in a licensed Assisted Living facility, Transitional Housing, Broward House Owned Apartments and Scattered Apartments throughout the county.  In every situation, they have staff who work to ensure the clients are safe and are able to maintain maximum independence.  The Assisted Living Facility and Transitional Residential Programs serve the following individuals:  HIV+ individuals who require Assisted Living; HIV+ individuals who are in Substance Abuse Treatment with Broward House or a collaborating treatment program  HIV+ individuals needing supported housing.With an average stay of 365 days.  Homeless individuals discharged from a hospital or shelter with an acute medical condition (these individuals may or may not be HIV+). With an average stay of 60 - 120 days. Hours Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm 


Services: Substance abuse treatment services, Substance abuse treatment, Halfway house, Residential long-term treatment (more than 30 days), Outpatient, Partial hospitalization/day treatment
