Cross Roads House provides emergency and transitional shelter to homeless men, women, and children in the Seacoast area. They provide homeless families and individuals with basic necessities, as well as the tools and guidance they need to return to permanent housing. They protect men, women and children of the Greater Seacost area experiencing homelessness from exposure and hunger. They provide secure, transitional shelter for those seeking to break the cycle of homelessness. They support individuals and families by providing them with the opportunity to move with dignity and purpose to stable and decent housing.

Note: Apartments may not have openings or may have long waiting lists. Call for complete details.

Faith-based Transitional Housing

Many religious organizations offer transitional housing at no cost as part of their ministry services. Many also offer payment assistance for those that qualify. We list these resources.

Government Subsidized

Through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, grants are provided to sober homes and transitional housing facilities for those who cannot afford alcohol and drug treatment.

Sliding-scale fees
