About Crossroads Ministries - Transitional Housing

Christian based residential community for women in transition. Encourages women coming out of brokenness who are committed to learning to live healthy, productive lifestyles. We believe that through this community of faith, we can show women that they are not alone anymore--they are valued and can become productive members of society. We house and minister to eight single women in My Father's House, and our Crossroads Community apartments accommodate five families of women with children. In addition to transitional housing, our campus includes a community room, laundry cottage, thrift store, office and playground. We are run and staffed by volunteers. For an application for residence, information, or to schedule a tour for yourself or your group, please contact us at 803-502-0285.

Note: Apartments may not have openings or may have long waiting lists. Call for complete details.

Faith-based Transitional Housing

Many religious organizations offer transitional housing at no cost as part of their ministry services. Many also offer payment assistance for those that qualify. We list these resources.

Sliding-scale fees

Many transitional housing locations provide housing on a sliding scale basis. This is generally income based support that charges based on one's ability to pay. We find and list those resources.
