Housing for a current inmate probably being released at end of January. Diagnosed at age 54 as Bipolar - on meds - in prison last couple months. He's desperate to find housing and a job. The meds seem to be helping a lot and he has finally admitted that he needs to take them.. I am his mother. I think if he has a place to stay from day one on release he may be able to get is life back.

Looking for housing for my 54 year old son diagnosed last year as bipolar. Will probably be getting out of prison end of January and desperately wants a job and housing. They've had him on meds which seem to have made a great difference in his behavior and I think if he has housing on release he may be able to get is life back. He lost a job he'd held for 19+ years as a result of his drug and alcohol use and was diagnosed after the trauma of losing his job. He's been arrested a dozen times since the diagnosis, often due to the survival antics of being a homeless person. Up until recently he wouldn't admit that he had a medical problem and he has finally gotten to the point where he realizes he needs to take medication every day. We want him to have a place to stay when he walks out of prison - which he hasn't had for the past year. If you can't help, can you please direct me to someone who may have the resources we need? Thank you.

12/6/20 - Does the Oxford house on Princeton avenue allow pets? For the last week there has been a doberman pincher being left outside and barks/cries continuously until he/she is let in. I don't know how the people in the house don't hear the constant barking as we are several houses away, with windows closed, and it's very loud. With the weather getting colder, I may have to contact animal services to be sure the dog is not being abused.

The people in this have extremely loud cars that they rev the engine as loud as they can starting at 7am. I live at the top of the street and can hear it constantly, like come on be respectful with your peers and neighbors.
