Kids were just taken by CPS due to inadequate shelter provided which was a result of not being able to find rental assistance and not being stable enough to sustain on my own.

This is not a message board to dis CPS. If you didn't use drugs and alcohol, your kids would still be with you. Thank GOD for those CPS workers. They have a very difficult job. And just so you are aware, they cannot just "take" kids without a very good reason. You may be mad at them for taking your kids, but you brought this upon yourselves. Get a life, get off drugs and you will get your kids back.
