About Grayson County Juvenile Alternatives, Inc.

North Texas Youth Connection was founded in 1979 (under the name Grayson County Juvenile Alternatives) by the community to provide opportunities to enable youth and families to develop a positive, healthful lifestyle by promoting their safety and well being.

Note: Apartments may not have openings or may have long waiting lists. Call for complete details.

Mission Statement: North Texas Youth Connection serves runaway, homeless, and street youth and their families to stabilize their living situation so that they are safe and well and have the opportunity to develop a safe and healthy lifestyle.

Faith-based Transitional Housing

Many religious organizations offer transitional housing at no cost as part of their ministry services. Many also offer payment assistance for those that qualify. We list these resources.

Government Subsidized

Through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, grants are provided to sober homes and transitional housing facilities for those who cannot afford alcohol and drug treatment.

Sliding-scale fees
