My daughter is there. I personally find it a terrible program. It's very defeating. Behavioral health programs are not for everyone. They seem to just keep tearing them down. If your addict needs that type of thing, this is the place for them. If they don't, it isn't. There is no spirituality in the program at all. My daughter finds that is what works better for her. We have kids dying by the thousands in this country and no one seems to care. We need to do so much better.

Hello, I am interested in volunteering at Isabella House. I am a 49 yr old single mom who has experienced addiction as a mom. I have three children and one miscarriage. I lost custody of my son who is my youngest when he was just three bc of drug use after his dad came home from prison. I had been doing great but wasn’t ready to say no. We (my kids and I) list everything bc we lost each other. It just makes me sick to feel the loss and the waste of a beautiful little family of me and my kids. I have been clean for four years now and am working the steps of AA. I also am just about finished with my Peer Support Specialist training. I feel I have much to offer when it comes to getting out of a controlling relationship where there are drugs involved and how it feels to lose custody as well as how it feels to navigate within CPS losing (bc I lost!) I hate that I am an example of what not to do but I am so passionate about those parents and kids staying together and I have some ideas on reframing things that make sense to ones own belief window that help one get out of the deep selfishness of addiction or an unhealthy relationship. If you can fit me anywhere in your program or have any ideas for me I would love to hear from you! I also have an AAS degree in Social Services/Gerontology. Thank you, Mary Feigner

Hello I am looking to get some more information about your program. I am 26 and have a 5 year old son. I have been battling addiction since before he was born and managed to stay sober for a little bit but the last year and a half things have gotten so bad. My boyfriend and I both have lost our jobs, and are about to be evicted. And My family is starting to cut me off from everything. I know I need help. I’m wondering if you have openings? And if I don’t have insurance right now but signed up once I got to town if I would still be able to come.
