Mission Statement: The mission of Karat Place Inc. is to rehabilitate homeless women ex-offenders with or without children to reduce recidivism in Greater Memphis. This is accomplished through the provision of a better standard of living in transitional housing and the promotion of ways to educate these women or single parent families to acquire knowledge, skills, esteem, contractual jobs and motivation which will empower them to become positive, productive, contributive citizens.

Im leaving Meridian, MS; im basically homeless going from couch to couch im also leaving a very abusive marriage there is nothing left for me here ive battled drug addiction as well as mental disabilities i feel i need to relocate to have a chance at a somewhat normal life i will need assistance with my mental health prescriptions filing for my disability and somewhere to live.
