Their program is designed to house veterans for a maximum of two years. During this time, they help veterans apply for all the benefits that they are entitled to so they are able to re-enter society and resume a stable life style. Mountain Comprehensive Care Center are currently accepting referrals for homeless veterans. They are capable of housing up to 25 veterans. If you have any veterans that you feel would be a good fit for their program please let me know. The requirements are as follows: 1. The veteran is homeless or at risk of being homeless. 2. Has at least six months of active duty (not reserve time). 3. Was discharged with honorable distinction (including less than, other than and general). 4. Has an income that is not greater than 16,100 per year. 5. No violent offenders or registered sex offenders. 6. They are an alcohol and drug free facility and do not provide detox. 7. They do require certain documents prior to admission, but are happy to work with any individual veteran regarding the intake and approval process. The Male Veterans Transitional Housing Center will provide health care services for the veterans. MCCC staff will work closely with the VA Medical Center staff and local veterans service representatives to ensure each veteran is receiving any and all benefits to which they are entitled. They also provide case management, veterans counseling, addictions counseling, psychiatric services, and employment services. Please feel free to forward this to any organization that aids homeless veterans and wants to help veterans resume a stable lifestyle.

Hello my name is Eva Williams and I just relocated back to pike County to be closer to my family. I have other family members that are in need of addiction problems. I was curious about what was around if any. Would love to talk to a professional about how to get help for myself and my 2sisters.
