Irma Gary HouseLocated in Tacoma's Hilltop neighborhood, New Connections' Irma Gary House provides a supportive, clean and sober home for women recently released from correctional facilities in Washington state. Women are provided with housing, intensive case management, advocacy, and re-entry support for up to six months. New Connections helps residents meet basic needs and access support services such as counseling and job training. Many residents have minor children. Staff and volunteers provide guidance as women navigate parenting classes, visitation issues and the challenges of re-building healthy family relationships. If you are interested in becoming a resident, please fill out the Irma Gary House Application at www.nctacoma.org. Ann Flagg CottageNew Connections is opened Ann Flagg Cottage in February 2013. This small, 2-bedroom home offers shelter for a woman, with custody of a minor child or children, who faces obstacles to housing based on her criminal background. The cottage is located directly behind Irma Gary House which allows us to provide intensive services and support to mothers working toward independent living. If you are interested in becoming a resident of the cottage, please fill out the Ann Flagg Cottage Application on their website.
