The Harmony House Model offers a four-phase transitional residential program, as well as on-site supportive services, such as case management, recreational activities, and workshops with an emphasis on holistic wellness. Their residents are required to attend outpatient treatment services and daily 12-step meetings. The outpatient program that they primarily work with provides transportation to and from their residences. They have a psychiatric nurse practitioner available onsite for any residents with mental health concerns, who is also a Vivitrol provider. Their residents are provided with the opportunity to experience a variety of healing methods to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual health. They offer a full weekly schedule of onsite workshops and groups with a focus on recovery and wellness, including acupuncture, reiki, yoga, aromatherapy, meditation, and fitness. Their programs have a dedicated focus on education, volunteerism and employment. They provide vocational support (resume building, interview skills practice, assistance with job searching, and referrals to ACESS-VR). They also have a volunteer program, partnering with local organizations, such as the animal shelter and farm, where their residents have the opportunity to give back to the community, build job skills, close gaps in their resume and gain references. Their four phase structure is flexible for those who come into their program already employed and for those who become employed while residing with us. They also have a referral resource program, providing support to individuals who are seeking treatment.
