I have been an alcoholic for twenty years. I am now 44 years old. I just got out of Valeo last Sunday, and already have had one beer. I have no job, am homeless with no insurance. The state would only pay for one month in Valeo. I want to be clean and sober so bad but I need to be around other sober people. Being alone on the street is not helping me.

I am looking for sober living when I relocate back to Kansas. I currently reside in Louisville, Kentucky. I have been sober for over 10 months. I am involved in AA and working the 12 steps. I am trying to have a plan in place for my return in December.
