I lost my apartment and car I allowed my mother to live with me and that evicted me I shortly after got my car shoot up while I was sitting in the car. Hello I am 18 and currently looking for transitional housing or availability. I don't currently have stable place to live and I'm looking for a place of my own . I stay with a friend from time to time and I have a place to eat and sleep from time to time but this is only temporary and I need some help and somewhere we to go. I'm still in school.

Why does someone have to go thru rehab just to get into one of these houses? I mean is it just completely unheard of to be homeless & not strung out? Like not all of us are on the streets cuz of drugs and alcohol. For some of us, it is purely circumstantial. Just need help getting back on my feet not help to quit some addiction I don't have.
