I was told by the district supervisor that Oxford House rents the property but house members were responsible for upkeep of the yard. Sappony is located on a quiet, residential street in our city’s historic downtown area. Everyone keeps their yards maintained and it is a beautiful area. The Sappony House residents have failed to cut the grass which is now waist high in the front yard and there is just various items scattered around the front area of the house. It has been hot, I understand, but that doesn’t stop the rest of us from maintaining our properties. Could you please have someone cut the grass immediately and atleast make it look comparable to the rest of the street? If there were not so many cars and traffic at the house, it would look vacant. It’s becoming an eyesore to say the least. No one cares about the jungle that is the backyard because it’s not visible but the front yard which is small enough to be cut in 20 minutes is out of control. We don’t want to have to go to the city who does have rules and standards for this area due to its age and history. Your help is appreciated. Concerned neighbor
