I stayed here for about 2 months before I was able to find a job and get my own place. The setup is that they have 2 buildings, face to face, with four 2BR in each, a kitchen, living room, and bathroom, which are shared. Theres 2 guys in each bedroom. They feed you hot meals for lunch and dinner every day, and there's cereal, frozen waffles, coffee and tea available for breakfast. The House rules are no drinking, drugging, or visitors. They take everyone to an NA/AA meeting each Saturday afternoon and then you all barbecue Hamburgers and Franks for lunch. Everyone kinda hands out in the backyard or living room watching TV during the day, unless you have a job. They monitor your earnings and spending, to help get you on your own faster. Overall it was a better experience than I could have hoped for given my homeless situation at the time. You can buy your own groceries and toiletries from the stores nearby, and you can use the kitchen to cook your own meals. Cleanup is a must. Also, they may give you rides to the places you need to go, or they'll give you bus passes. Oh yeah, there are group meetings every day that are geared more towards self-help than addiction counseling if there are any addicts there.
