Star of Hope is a transitional living center for women and families. Apartments for 66 families and apartments for 45 single women are available.


Mission Statement: Star of Hope is a Christ-centered community dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women and their children. Positive life changes are encouraged through structured programs which focus on spiritual growth, education, employment, life management and recovery from substance abuse.

My DOC is crack-cocaine. I've been using drugs since 2002 at the age of 37. I'm currently 54 years old. I'm on probation and required to live in a Sober Living Home. So I'm hoping you all are a Sober Living Home program. I have completed PHP IOP OP which was required by my probation as well.

I'm looking to move to Texas from Missouri. I am a heroin / methamphetamine addict who has tried everything to get clean stay clean change my life... I can't escape anything anyone here.. I'm desperate to move away and work and be successful and a good mother.. I've overdosed 31 times and I'm quite sure I don't have #32 in me. I'm 28 and I have been to 8 prisons total of 6 years of my life behind the bars. I hope you have an opening or know someone who will take me. I'm going to remain clean and build a nice life, but if I don't get out of Missouri, soon, I'll be another statistic like all of my friends have.
