The Mission of Talbot House is To provide Shelter to men not only by ensuring they have a roof over their heads, but also by offering them safe, comfortable housing away from the madness of active drug and alcohol addiction. At Talbot House, men experience a place of peace and comfort where they can learn to live life on lifes terms.  Education to men by teaching them the program of Alcoholics Anonymous, thus giving them a foundation upon which to build a happy and successful life. While at Talbot House men learn to apply the principles of AA to every aspect of their lives while they learn life skills to ensure they can address situations that used to baffle them.  Support to men in many ways, none of which are more important that its peer mentor process. Because theyve 'been there before,' their longer-term residents are uniquely qualified to help the new man navigate this new way of life. Additionally, men at Talbot House receive support through being held accountable for learning and exhibiting life skills they will need to succeed in the outside world.

I am a recovering alcholic currently have over four years sobriety am looking for sober living resedential housing i am also an ex felon although my charges were in 1998 in florida would like more info about talbot house
