The Clubhouse of Damascus is a structured, independent, clean and sober living environment for men. Their house is designed for men that are interested in growing up and rejoining society. Leadership roles are implemented to provide growth and responsibility. Doing chores daily and going to 12 step, faith based, or smart recovery at least 3-4 times a week is of the uppermost importance. They randomly give urinalysis and breathalyzer testing along with an off site analysis lab. Not permitted are sex offenders, violent offenders, men on Suboxone, methadone, and marijuana maintenance. It is required after fifteen days that the client either be employed, actively in school, or in treatment. Financial obligations are due weekly on Sunday. The move in total is $310. This includes a $100 security deposit (refundable), $55 application fee (non-refundable), and $155 for the first week of rent. Each additional week is $155 per week. There are many organizations that will provide assistance with funding. There is access to Internet and Direct TV, all utilities are also included. Montgomery county offers reliable transportation Monday-Friday. They are not a health care provider and do not offer counseling services but they empower and encourage clients to grow in their recovery.
