The Refuge at Jumper Creek houses unaccompanied adults, both single mothers and single fathers, and intact family units. They house between 20 and 30 men, women, and young children daily. They offer a comprehensive array of services in order to ensure that when families leave theyre ready to transition back into society as productive and independent people. They also operate a mobile unit at the Wildwood truck stop area every Monday afternoon from 11 a.m.1 p.m. They hand out sandwiches, nonperishable food items, clothing, jackets, blankets, and personal hygiene items to those living in and around the wooded areas surrounding the truck stop. They are also able to assist individuals applying for ACCESS benefits, including Medicaid and EST benefits (food stamps). Hours: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm

Mission Statement: With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for helping homeless families improve the quality of their lives through support and educational development. At the Refuge, families will grow spiritually and financially while their physical needs are meet by supplying families with a Christian home environment. This is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause.
