I was staying at the Addison Road shelter but they want you to pay to stay there. Usually when a shelter asks you to pay to stay the money is placed in escrow and helps patrons with finding a new place. Not so here...This shelter requires you to pay then pockets the money. Staying in the streets is better than staying in the Addison Road shelter.

I am about to enter here. I can't be on the streets, this is my first time. I heard one side you pay and the other not. I don't have any money to pay.

I need a place to stay for a little bit. I'm currently working in DC and I'm a Chef, just came back in town, I have nowhere to go, I was in South Carolina moved back in the area, it's only temporary, just until I can get me a place.
