The Gathering Place is a residential treatment center that offers substance abuse treatment to women and women with dependent children.
While at The Gathering Place, clients are involved in various therapeutic, recreational and community, recovery-oriented activities.
Each client is assigned a Clinician upon admission and given a thorough intake interview following which an individualized treatment plan is developed.
Clients engage in weekly one-to-one counseling sessions in addition to a multitude of group activities which focus on: chemical dependency, sharing 'life stories', parenting, trauma recovery concepts, grief and loss, healthy relationships, recreation, vocational skills, social skills and daily living skills.
Services: Substance abuse treatment services, Substance abuse treatment, Detoxification, Halfway house, Residential short-term treatment (30 days or less), Residential long-term treatment (more than 30 days)
Fees: Sliding fee scale (fee is based on income and other factors)
Insurances: Self payment, Medicaid, Medicare, State financed insurance (other than Medicaid), Private health insurance, Military insurance (e.g., VA,TRICARE), Access to Recovery
