The Mavis House has been a safe place to land after a rough year. I am eternally greatfull to Katrina King for helping Me put My life back together. I have a lovely room and beautiful accommodations. This will always be remembered as My happy place, the calm in a storm.

I've lived here and I am so grateful for this place, Katrina has helped me so much and the program has saved my life. I recommend this place to anyone that has struggled with addiction because when I got there I had tried to do treatment a bunch of times and tried to get sober more times than I can really even count but God led me to boss life and it gave a hopeless case the support I needed to finally break out of the addictive lifestyle. I'm still a part of the program and I couldn't imagine having made it to the point I am now if I hadn't made the decision to commit to this program.

I would not recommend this place. This place was good at first. I was very much welcomed. I was there right at 9 months, but seen how this place operated quickly. Yes, I was able to get myself grounded, but through it all I was more than stressed. I dreaded coming home from work. No matter what I had going on in my life, my business was being thrown around with all of the women in the houses. We are supposed to be grown and working our own program, however, these women always seem to find plenty of time to chat amongst each other about everyone and everything else about others life. When it comes time to move out, you are made to feel like you are walking on eggshells, your just another dollar. It's not as holy and grand as it sounds, I promise. As far as having programs, there are no programs in BOSS LIFE, there's two meetings per week, two at the houses, and one house meeting that is mandatory for the house. You work your program through your treatment facility you go to.
