About True Friends Place

True Friends Place are a women\'s sober house located near Mora, MN. They are faith-based, incorporating daily devotionals, twelve-step programs, equine therapy, and bible studies. This helps to empower the women in their recovery transition to being a functional and productive members of society. Their goal is to help the residents to discover their strengths, tools, and resources, while providing a safe environment in which to practice them. They encourage them to build a solid support system before leaving True Friends Place. They also encourage employment readiness and basic living, and parenting skills as needed.
